J+B Studio is built around selection. We find objects, clothing, art and design in many different places. Some pieces are decades old. Others are new. What connects them is not their age. It is why we chose them.
01 / SELECTED BY J+B
Good materials. Strong design. Craftsmanship. An interesting shape, colour, maker or history. Objects that have aged beautifully. Clothing that feels better because it has already lived. New pieces that deserve a place alongside vintage ones.
We don't believe that new is automatically better. And we don't believe something becomes valuable simply because it is old.
Quality comes first.
We don't collect everything.
We select what deserves a place.
02 / AS FOUND
Some pieces need nothing. An unusual object. A beautifully worn jacket. A piece of vintage design. A print, book or accessory that deserves to remain exactly as we found it. We clean, inspect, photograph and describe these pieces as honestly as possible — including the marks that belong to their history.
03 / IN THE STUDIO
Other finds become raw material. Existing garments, textiles and objects can be repaired, adapted, printed, combined or transformed in the J+B Studio. Not to make something old look new, but to create something that did not exist before.
04 / NEW + OLD
Curation is not another word for vintage. We also work with new products and materials when we believe in their quality, design or potential. A J+B selection can therefore be new, vintage, antique, found or studio-made. What matters is that it has earned its place.
Much of what we sell exists only once.
That means our collection changes continuously. Pieces disappear. New discoveries take their place. Sometimes we find another. Often we don't.
We like it that way.
